Toasted Tortellini
1/3 CupMilk Deep fryCooking oil
1/2 CupBread crumbs, dryed PreparedMarinara sauce
1/4 CupParmesan, shredded optionalAlfredo sauce
9 oz. PkTortellini, refriger To tasteSalt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 300*F. Line baking sheet with waxed paper. Pour milk into a shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl combine bread crumbs & Parmesan cheese. Dip each tortellini in milk then in the bread crumb mixture, turning to coat lightly.
Place tortellini on prepared baking sheet. In a medium saucepan, heat 2 inch of cooking oil to 375*F or medium heat. Fry tortellini about 3 min. (one-third at a time) or until golden brown - turn to brown evenly. Drain on paper towels. Serve with warm sauce.
